Vashnav devi-is located in northside of India in a state named Jammu and Kashmir. Every day hundereds of pillgrims go to see this temple from all around India. This temple is located in himalyan range. It's a scared place. If you ever get a chance to go to India go to this place. You have to travell 14 killometers by foot to reach there if you can't walk there are mules which will take you upto there. Legend has it that Vaishno Devi took the cave for her home upon being chased by a demon, Bhairon, whom she slayed outside the shrine. A visit to the temple dedicated to Bhairon who was absolved of his sin before he died, is an obligatory part of the pilgrimage. All pilgrims are required to get passes at Katra for the yatra (pilgrimage) which continues round the year. In the winter, snow can often block the route, but summer nights are ideal for the uphill ascent. To facilitate pilgrims the entire route has been electrically lit, The sanctum sanctorum and there is overnight accommodation available at the shrine. Shore Temple
Pillgrims to Amarnath
Amarnath- This picture is showing pillgrims going to Amarnath. This place is also located in the north side of India. It's open only in spring because the temperature of this area is very low and the area is not developed. I didn't get the picture of the temple but I know that every summer a "Shivling"of ice forms here, that's why this temple is so important
The Holy Amarnath is Situated in a narrow gorge at the farther end of Lidder valley, Amarnath stands at 3,888 m and is 44.8 km from Pahalgam and 141 km from Srinagar. Though the original pilgrimage subscribes that the yatra be undertaken from Srinagar, the more common practise is to begin journey at Pahalgam, and cover the distance to Amarnath and back in five days.
